The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the development of strategic marketing initiatives and elevating the profile of our clients through marketing and advertising. This position reports to the Senior Director of Communications and leads a portfolio of marketing strategies for various clients of RJL Solutions. Additionally, the Director of Marketing provides oversight and leadership for the Social Media Manager in their responsibilities of managing and implementing a variety of social media campaigns.
• Lead and/or contribute to a variety of marketing initiatives including graphic design for print and digital marketing, document design, video production, social media planning, advertising strategies, content creation, etc.
• Provide high-level service to the clients and partners of RJL Solutions.
• Work with clients to determine best practices, priorities, and focused strategies for their marketing and storytelling
platforms, present recommendations to clients, and lead discussions on analytics.
• Manage a high-volume of marketing accounts, campaigns, and projects, including content planning, engagement tactics,
and analytics.
• Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies,
pivoting as needed for the success of RJL Solutions and its clients.
• Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market.
• Manage advertising campaigns that include social media, TV, radio, print, targeted digital ads, etc., including the facilitation
of the ad buys for these various platforms.
• Work with our team of communications professionals to ensure that digital marketing strategies are properly executed
visually across a variety of design products including websites, social media graphics, advertisements, etc.
• Provide support to the Senior Director of Communications in managing and implementing a comprehensive marketing
strategy for RJL Solutions.
• Develop marketing strategies for current and prospective clients.
• Manage high-level comprehensive marketing campaigns on behalf of RJL Solutions and its clients.
• Form quality working relationships with various media partners and vendors to provide additional support and services to
the clients of RJL Solutions.
• Oversee the quality control measures for the department.
• Oversee the operational aspects of the department including project management, budget, and personnel.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related degree.
• Five years professional experience in communications, marketing, or related experience.
• Experience performing or managing a range of creative positions.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and social media platforms.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, research, and trends and establish identified action items with that information.
• Strong communication skills, with impeccable written and spoken English.
• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of detailed work with
conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The Social Media Manager is responsible for leading social strategies to drive success of clients from various industries. The Social Media Manager reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for the development of various initiatives including social media, e-communications, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Provide high-level service to the clients and partners of RJL Solutions.
• Research, develop, and coordinate strategic social media approaches including platform selection and differentiation, graphic design content, written content, boosted posts, informal video content, etc.
• Gather photo and video content for use on social media.
• Write captions that engage the audience and communicate information effectively.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns for a variety of clients and industries.
• Manage a high-volume of social media accounts, digital marketing campaigns, e-communications, etc., including content planning, scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
• Provide support to the Director of Marketing to ensure that digital marketing strategies are properly executed visually across a variety of design products including websites, social media graphics, advertisements, etc.
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
• Identify trends and insights and optimize organic and paid digital marketing and performance based on the insights.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
• Work with clients to determine best practices, priorities, and focused strategies for their social media platforms, present recommendations to clients, and lead discussions on analytics.
• Lead the strategic growth of the social media services at RJL Solutions including ongoing recommendations for new positions, processes, and opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, multimedia studies or related degree.
• Three years professional experience in social media management, advertising, digital marketing strategies, or related marketing experience.
• Experience in managing social media accounts on various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, etc., and knowledge of associated strategies.
• Experience using content scheduling systems (i.e. Hootsuite, Social Pilot, etc.) or desire to learn.
• Specific coursework or training in marketing strategies.
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
• Desire and ability to respond to notifications and requests in an efficient and effective way.
• Strong communication skills, with impeccable written and spoken English.
• Strong organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of detailed work with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
