Digital Media Specialist

Position Summary

RJL Solutions is seeking a dynamic and creative Digital Media Specialist to join our marketing and public relations team. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and digital advertising campaigns that reflect the unique voice of our diverse client portfolio. The ideal candidate is both a creative storyteller and a strategic thinker—equally comfortable designing compelling graphics, producing short-form videos, interpreting analytics, and managing advertising performance. This role blends content creation, digital advertising, project management, and client account oversight in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management
    • Design and publish original content—written, graphic, video, and GIFs—across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), and TikTok.
    • Capture and edit engaging short-form video content optimized for social.
    • Maintain consistency in voice, messaging, and brand for each unique client.
    • Stay on top of current trends and platform updates to keep content relevant and engaging.
  • Client Engagement & Project Management
    • Serve as day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts, managing social media projects from kickoff to completion.
    • Lead monthly client meetings and prepare performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Ensure deadlines, deliverables, and KPIs are met or exceeded for all client social accounts.
       
  • Analytics & Strategy
       
    • Monitor and evaluate content performance through platform analytics and third-party tools.
    • Adjust strategies based on real-time data to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.
    • Develop social media analytic reports for clients with insights tied to ROI and strategic goals.
       
  • Digital Advertising
       
    • Assist with the planning, execution, and monitoring of digital ad campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Google, and Microsoft Ads.
    • Collaborate on A/B testing, audience segmentation, and creative optimization.
    • Track campaign performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in social media, marketing, or digital communications.
  • Consideration will be given to new graduates with strong internship experience and an impressive portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Canva is required.
  • Video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Rush, CapCut), and social media scheduling platforms preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a knack for translating complex messages into engaging content.
  • Understanding of audience behavior across social platforms and trends in social media, short-form video, and digital advertising.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, campaigns, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience working directly with clients and within creative teams.
