The City of Crawfordsville wanted a new brand identity to embody the experience of all its residents, city staff, students, and visitors. The city sought to pay homage their history of innovation, as well as signal they are a forward-thinking, vibrant city, welcoming to visitors and residents.

RJL developed two marks as part of the identity program. Collectively, the logo and seal, work together to tell their unique story. The seal is a modern dedication to the historical General Lew Wallace Study & Museum and is intended for official city communications. The logo is devoted to promoting the city to visitors and residents as a place to go for the perfect blend of outdoor recreation and downtown charm.
